In Greek mythology, Aglaya or Aglaia (in ancient Greek Ἀγλαΐα, "the resplendent", "she who shines", "the splendorous", "the splendid") was the youngest and most beautiful of the three Cárites. She symbolized intelligence, creative power and the intuition of the intellect.
